About Marie - Owner - Astrological Insights:

I have had a wide range of spiritual, mystical, psychic and astrological experiences and teachings since I was a child.  My mother took me to my first astrology class when I was 14 and I have studied astrology off and on the rest of my life.

I had the pleasure of studying with renowned Astrologer Raymond Merriman in my teens and twenties.  Over those years he taught me the nuts and bolts of astrology.  At 19
I had the privilege of being his assistant, making his appointments and charts (before computers); and traveling with him and his business partner to different seminars and psychic symposiums, some of which he sponsored right here in Michigan.  It was the opportunity of a lifetime at age 19, and happened to correlate to my North Node Return! It was Ray's psychic business partner Mrs. Ceal who taught me to find the person's life story in the Natal chart. 

As I had children and made their charts, it taught me to see the parents and family issues in the astrological chart. It then seemed very natural to start reading charts professionally when I owned a Metaphysical Bookstore in 1990-91, and also started teaching beginning astrology classes at that time.
 
I took many healing classes in the 80's including Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, a hypnosis class and many psychic development classes.  I then became a massage therapist in 1995.

The massage practice slowly took off and I eventually focused full time on the massage, with only doing astrology readings for family, friends and massage clients. So now with almost 30 years of massage therapy under my belt and understanding so much more about healing the pain that people feel, and helping people face their issues; I feel I have more to offer as an astrologer as well.
